Hello,

I am a beginner in electronics, so i try to learn. I am making now a voltage booster with a PWM. I need 12 till 36volts. After blowing up a lot of components i managed to get a voltage from between the 40 and 100 volts. But when i lower the windings the voltage goes up, and i thought it should go down then. What do i do wrong? Or must i make more windings? I hope somebody can help me out with this because the circuit finaly works, just the voltage i am fighting with.

When you remove windings you will have a lower inductance and therefore the current will be higher. If you want to lower the current you must add more windings to the toroid core. (Also a newbie!)

I used ks184026a sundust core. I need inductance---0.210mh.how much leangth using winding wire.how i select wire guage .please help me
